Snuggle Up

I love big sweaters with leggings. SO comfy.

(I know that 2nd clear full-body shot is weird, the wind blew my hair in my face. Haha. ….big sweaters look cute in real life, but are NOT photogenic. On me anyways!)

L’Oreal “Total Repair 5” Shampoo Review

So my hair isn’t really damaged, but I like to buy Damage Repair shampoos because they enhance my hair. If they claim to condition dry hair, imagine how nice it’ll work on normal hair! That’s my theory anyways…

So I tried THIS one! L’Oreal “Total Repair 5” Shampoo. I really really like it! You know that amazing moment when you try a product, specifically a hair product, and truly feel an immediate difference after? That’s what happened!

This shampoo claims to enhance:

1) Strength

2) Density

3) Vitality

4) Shine

5) Silky touch

This was my personal opinion of result of using it:

1) Strength: 4.5/5 -My hair breaks a lot less easily when brushed.

2) Density: 5/5 -I can FEEL the weight. (Therefore not very voluminizing)

3) Vitality: 4/5 -My hair really does feel stronger!

4) Shine: 4/5 – It looks shinier and silkier.

5) Silky touch: 4.5/5 -I keep finding myself running my fingers through my hair! It feels so smooth and knot-free.

There is a very subtle fragrance. I don’t like it when the scent of my shampoo interferes with my perfume. This is light enough to provide a healthy, clean scent, and not be overwhelming. Perfect for me!

So, this sounds cheesy, and “too-good-to-be-true” but I’m being honest. I actually read the ‘promises’on the bottle and answered them honestly one by one in this post.

I don’t spend too much money on hair products, so I’ve never tried any really fancy and/or expensive brands. But for a drugstore brand, this shampoo did the trick! Excellent results…try it and see

Have a lovely part two of the week!

Feeling Feminine & Classy

I am so in love with this look I cannot even explain. I am already a big fan of Jennifer Lawrence, and this photo just took my breath away.

(To get: Smokey eyes, heavy contour/blush, and neutral lips. The hair? Photo says it all.)

I am a big fan the good old-fashioned feminine beauty. I feel like it’s something that we’ve been losing these days. But….. it’s slowly coming back!

As a woman, I love dressing up! The red lipstick, jewelry, flowing skirts, fancy up-dos, etc. There’s no better time than fall/winter to bring out the bling!

What’s wrong with looking feminine? Absolutly nothing! Have fun, be pretty,   …. naw, be glamorous!

Baby get your shine on!

Violet Eyes

How to:

1) Apply one (thin) coat of mascara

2) Sweep a purple-based mid-tone over the lid and just a bit above the crease.

3) Apply a darker purple-based shade at the inner and outer corners of your lid.

4) Accentuate the outer corner and crease even more with a deeper purple and blend well

5) Dab a shimmery light purple shade onto the ball of your eyelid for “volume”

6) Line the upper lashline with black pen eyeliner, pulling it to a slight flick

7) Line bottom lashes with dark purple shadow and blend

8) Apply a thick coat of mascara and comb/separate after dry

9) Set eyeliner with black shadow

( By the way, I’m sorry the lighting is depressing in these photos! I’ll find better light next time. It makes my skin look pale and brings out my silly freckles. :P)

This look would be great for a date, night out with friends, or a party.

Dusty Rose

How to:

1) Prime eyelid

2) Apply medium rose pink colour over lid up to the crease

3) Sweep darker burgundy or brown-based pink into the outer corner of your lid, pulling it along the crease

4) Blend with blending brush if you don’t like a very sharp, cut crease which is more dramatic (I blended mine quite a bit)

5) Apply a cream/white/very light pink to the inner corner of the lid, blending it out to the centre of the lid

6) Line the upper lashline with a black liquid liner pen (you can use pencil if you prefer a smokey effect)

7) Apply two coats of thickening mascara.

8) Set eyeliner with black eyeshadow.

This is a natural look with a bit of spice to it. Perfect for fall occasions!
